What If a Book Club Could Change Everything?

I am sitting here, it's a Sunday afternoon and I swear I have never sweat as much as I have in the last 48 hours. The combination of midlife rolling hot flashes, insane Caribbean humidity and a sun that feel like it's trying to bake me alive has proven to be more than my sweat glands can handle....... Normally Sunday is my chillax day, my day to really not think or do any business stuff, but that isn't an option today. well I guess technically it is an option, but it's been all hands on deck these last couple weeks, and today really isn't any different.

The new copies of the book are sent out, they are arriving on doorsteps. Messages are filling my inbox with celebrations, with pictures of women with their NEW books, their Journals and even a couple with their Kindle version (I am so super proud of this btw). It's kinda surreal actually. I don't feel like i really got to appreciate how amazing publishing a book is the first time it "hit the shelves" because of, well you know, the complete SHIT SHOW that was a lying money grabber,,,, But I am not bitter.... I had a vision of how I thought this would all roll out, a plan that felt right, a way to honour and nurture those women who where joining me on this journey. I should know better by now. The universe never follows MY plan, she really seems to always have something BIGGER and BETTER up her sleeve. The first launch was actually more crazy and chaotic than it should have been. It wasn't really in alignment with what i wanted this all to be. It felt money grabberish..... That's not me, I am more a flow and offer kinda gal... anyway we don't need to keep rehashing that crap, it is time to move forward! And MOVE FORWARD we shall, right into the BOOK CLUB!
Look, midlife is messy. No one hands you a manual when your hormones hijack your personality, your body feels like a stranger, and your relationships start to wobble. Unless they hand you my book! HA, ok, it's not a manual but it certainly can help you not feel so alone. I was tired of feeling alone, and super tired of hearing how you guys felt that way too. I created the Chaos to Confidence Book Club because I needed a safe place to unravel — and rebuild — alongside other women who truly get it. Together! Not alone!
